CALL FOR PAPERS

NOTE: We have over 50 abstracts already. Both time and space are RUNNING OUT. If you plan to submit an abstract, do so NOW.

There is no specific theme to the conference. The technical programme will cover all aspects of respiratory protection, including:

  • Theoretical research
  • Filtration
  • New products
  • Air purifying respirators
  • Breathing apparatus
  • Mining
  • NBC defence
  • Practical applications of RPE
  • Domestic preparedness/anti-terrorist applications
  • Protection factors
  • Psychology and human interactions
  • Standards and regulations
  • Selection and use

N.B. Extended submission deadline for abstracts

There is no conference without papers. We are calling for abstracts by 31st July 2008, but preferably as early as possible. After that date, late papers may be accepted if there is room in the technical program, but the abstracts may only appear as loose leaf sheets in the conference abstract book.

We are particularly interested in encouraging end-users of respiratory protection (civil or military) to present papers about the practical application of respiratory protection.

Presenters receive a conference fee discount and there is a cash prize for the best paper.
