D-R PLOTS FOR SEVERAL OV CARTRIDGES

Dubinin-Radushkevich plots have been prepared from published data and measurements for several organic vapor air-purifying respirator cartridges and the carbons they contain: 3M 6001 3M 7251 MSA GMA-OV MSA GMC-H MSA GME-H North N7500-1 Scott 642-OV Willson T01 Survivair 100100 Pleisch ABC-SF90 Martindale A1P2 and the C2A1 with ASZM-TEDA impregnated carbon. Such plots provide micropore volumes and benzene-reference adsorption potentials for the service life estimation models and computer programs BREAKTHROUGH and MULTIVAPOR. In addition to providing information about carbons these plots show which chemicals are not well predicted by these models without further parameter adjustments.
