The International Society for Respiratory Protection

Held only once every two years, the ISRP conference serves as a global forum for the exchange of knowledge related to the science, technology, regulation, development, and practice of respiratory protection. 

The ISRP is holding its twentieth international conference for the first time as a virtual event May 10th to May 12th, 2022 and preceded on May 9th by a professional development session.

The Technical Program will cover all aspects of respiratory protection, including:

  • Pandemic Response
  • Accommodating Underserved Populations
  • First Responder Needs
  • High Hazard Applications
  • Development of Standards
  • Fit and Fit Testing
  • Education and Training in Selection, Fitting, Care and Use
  • Ignite Presentations: New Ideas and Technologies
  • Science and Characterization
  • Respiratory Protection Science: old problems waiting for new solutions

Authors are invited to submit abstracts for consideration by the technical committee by visiting https://isrp2022.exordo.com/

Presenting authors will be required to create an account with ex ordo.  Please contact  with any difficulties related to the ex ordo platform.

Guide for Authors

The deadline to submit abstracts is 28 February 2022.  All abstracts should be submitted in English and be no longer than 500 words.  Notifications for acceptance will be made on a rolling basis after submission is closed.  The abstract should include the following sections and be relevant to the selected topic area(s). 

  • Background
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusions

All abstracts will be refereed, and the organizing committee reserves the right to reject submissions.
