New Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of the ISRP

The Journal of the International Society for Respiratory Protection would like to thank Dr. Ziqing Zhuang for his many years of service at the Editor in Chief. 

He guided our journal through many interesting developments and challenges in the field of respiratory protection and we are forever grateful for his dedication to our Journal and this field.  We would now like to announce that Dr. Evan Floyd has been selected to serve as the new Editor In Chief. Dr. Floyd is an Associate Professor at the University of Oklahoma in the Hudson College of Public Health, and has a PhD in Environmental Health Sciences with a concentration in Industrial Hygiene.  He has studied respiratory protection since 20131 and during the COVID-19 pandemic served on his University’s COVID taskforce, applying knowledge of aerosol science and respiratory protection to guide University policies and practices.

This change should not impact the process for submitting manuscripts to the JISRP for publication consideration.  Please follow the instructions for authors that are published on the website and continue to send emails for the editor to .

Lastly, there is still time to submit manuscripts for consideration for publication in the first issue of 2023.  The JISRP prides itself on our rapid turnaround times for submitted manuscripts.
